Telecom Cable Products
Blue Ocean Projects offers a heavy duty cable protector designed to be retro-fitted by divers on telecom cables to provide cable protection at rocky landfalls, and suitable for extreme (e.g. hurricane) conditions. These protectors are fastened together using heavy duty ties, normally in Grade 316 stainless steel. Two sizes are available, both with a lock out bend radius of 1500mm:
- 55mm inside diameter, pitch of 400mm, weight of 9kg/casting or 46kg/m in air
- 89mm inside diameter, pitch of 305mm, weight of 11.5kg/casting or 75kg/m in air.
